iList Paducah - Your Invitation To Everything! - For a city our size, Paducah definitely has it going on – so much so that it’s a challenge to schedule a concert, celebration or fundraiser without conflicting with another one. The iList offers one central city calendar, open to all and easy to access. Now you can see who’s doing what and when they’re doing it – and where you can fit in your own event. Maiden Alley Cinema - The opening of Maiden Alley Cinema is a dream come true for all of us.The Paducah Film Society, a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization, was founded in 1991 by a group of arts-minded individuals who saw a need for an outlet for foreign, independent and documentary film. For the first five years of operation, PFS screened one film per month, Sundays at the Cinema. As interest increased within the community, programming expanded to multiple screenings. While the space we rented from Paducah's Market House Theatre was adequate, we were limited as to how often we could present our films due to the demand of the Market House's live production programming. We needed a new home, and Maiden Alley Cinema was born.
